As the coronavirus has made a resurgence, we want to make sure that all golfers, staff, and other visitors can stay safe. Please follow directions asked of you by our staff to insure the safety and health of all here at Thoroughbred.
We also will accomodate golfers wishing to ride single on a golf cart for health reasons. There will be an additional fee for this option. The fee will be an additional $5.00 for weekdays and an additional fee of $10 for weekend and holidays, regardless of the number of holes played. These additional fees include all taxes.
We will take payments in person at the pro shop, but must limit the number of people checking in to no more than 4 people at a time. This is for the safety of our customers as well as our staff. And, when checking in, please maintain at least 6' between you and the people around you. If you would like to call ahead to pay, we can take credit card payments over the phone, and simply assign your cart to you when you arrive. And, once the online reservation system is running the way we need it to, we will also offer online secure payments for golf, driving range, and other amenities as we add them to the online ordering system.
It is important to help us keep everyone safe, and respect that a limit of how many people are in the clubhouse/pro shop at one, keeping at least 6' space between people. This policy can be altered to meet the current recommendations for the safety of all. We will be constantly sanitizing hard surfaces, door handles, and the like. If you feel more comfortable with staying outside of the pro shop to sign in, we can assist you by taking a credit card inside to process, and return it to you once we have approval of the charge.
While most people prefer to take a power cart, due to our elevation changes, we offer walking as well. The fee for 18 holes walking is $15/$20 for 18 holes, and $10/$12 for 9 holes. The best way to get exercise - walking on the golf course!
If we are unable to accomodate you with golf, think about using the driving range. We are working on providing you with an upgraded range, with more and better grass as the season progresses, and better range balls. Once we get out of the wet spring, we will have a new batch of range balls, courtesy of one of our sponsoring partners, the Don Franklin family of dealerships. Please think of them if you are considering a new or used vehicle.
We have stopped serving our full menu temporarily, until we can expect steady delivery of the quality products we have introduced into our complete menu. Our full service bar, the only liquor licensed facility in Jessamine County, is open.
We strictly follow state ABC laws, which means: if you consume it here, you must purchase it here. Please do not jeopardize our license to serve alcohol, or cause us to be fined. If we find outside alcohol being brought onto premise, we will deal with it quickly, so we hope to have your cooperation.
